Seeds!

If you have seeds, then plant them! Seeds are magic just waiting to happen!

Seeds are little touches of Beauty and Wonder waiting to emerge. This year I am starting seedlings in re purposed paper egg cartons. I cut the lid off the carton and then poke holes in the bottom of the egg cups. Fill with potting mix and you have a wonderful little seedling tray. I then nest the egg cup part into the lid lined with plastic wrap and give the whole thing a nice place to sit. Water and wait and you will soon have plants.

Another thing you can do is cut apart the egg cups and then place the individual cups into some sort of small dish. This is nice for a single seedling start. I have nestled my egg cups into Japanese style tea cups. Perfect! Look closely and you can see a sprout emerging. I am going to try this with lemon seeds.
