Battlegrounds Mobile India has released a new patch for the game. This new patch changes some parameters of the new Spider-Man Web Shooters that were added to the game earlier this month. Krafton is also trying to resolve a few other issues with the new patch, including many bugs that players reported with the new BGMI 1.8.0 update.

Mobile Battlegrounds India users have been facing a handful of issues since the release of BGMI's January update last week. Krafton is currently working on fixing a bug where the friends list incorrectly displayed match playtime, frame drops when playing at 90fps on iOS devices, and sound issues with the Blood Raven emote X-suit, among other bugs. With the fresh update, Krafton is reducing the cool downtime of the web shooter from seven seconds to three seconds with this patch. It will allow the gamers to use the web-shooters quicker. Further, the cool down time of changing the web-shooters from three seconds has been changed to zero seconds.

“In addition, we are closely investigating reported bugs and fixing them. We would like to apologize once again for the inconvenience. For bug fixes, we will continually inform you via a notice," Krafton said in the notice.

Krafton recently revealed that it banned 48,543 accounts during the week of January 10-16, as part of its crackdown on in-game cheaters. The South Korean studio also released a list of accounts that have been banned. Players can be banned for using an unauthorized (or "modified") version of the game, or using illegal and auxiliary programs to gain an unfair advantage over other players.
